Gov. J.B. Pritzker, an avid critic of President Trump and his response to the COVID-19 pandemic, called on the federal government Wednesday to require face coverings and to devise a national strategy to try to contain the virus that has killed more than 133,000 Americans.
“We need a national masking mandate. We instituted ours in Illinois on May 1, the first in the nation. And it aligns with our most significant downward shifts in our infection rate,” Pritzker said in testimony video streamed to the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security. “It’s not too late for the federal government to make an impact. In fact, it’s more important than ever.”
The governor also said the federal government failed in putting together a national response as the coronavirus pandemic ravaged the country. Speaking at a virtual hearing, Pritzker said a plan to get personal protective equipment and testing supplies was nonexistent.

Blast from the past! I haven’t seen/heard that insult in ages. It gets the point across without profanity, which is always a good thing. If I recall, my father said it from time to time — a kindly gentleman of the old school, but he had his boundaries.
Personally, this mask-wearing business has brought out all the latent misanthropy in my character. We are truly a nation of cowards — egged on, of course, by a mendacious news media.
I can tell you I cut an appointment with a client short as the respiration built up in mask to the point I couldn’t comfortably breather.
I pulled my mask so the client could see how much moisture was on face
She was shocked to see it looked like I had been sweating from my chin to nose as I wiped away the excessive moisture
The mask is impossible for me after just 10 minutes
I am now reduced to shopping for food everyday day to obtain the minimum of fresh foods and many days I dread going to the grocery store for than a couple items instead of purchasing that weeks food
Consequently i find myself at the drive through of fast food restaurants and i really should not be eating their crap
Now that expression is also a blast from the past! :)

He just laid out a great amnesty plan too. So after all of this spending, amnesty, 600,000 new h1bs, cancelling easter Easter nationwide. Gorsch and the supremes in full imprison the Christian mode... whats the diff?

Anyone who doesn’t want to wear a mask-just say:
Masks have been debunked.
Masks are harmful to your immune system.
Masks are for bandits not law abiding citizens.
Thanks for sharing. . . .there are more stories than we realize like yours out there. I had to leave a church service for a few minutes just for some air and I have no breathing problems. . .my oxygen levels are always right up there. It was the second time I had a mask on. The poor little children. . . . .if I had school aged children, I would be homeschooling. . . besides the curriculum in some states are going anti-God this year.
The president could order Democrats to wear masks. This would satisfy everybody.
