MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 37-year-old IHOP employee was assaulted in the early morning hours Thursday after confronting customers who dined and dashed.
Officers responded at about 5:45 a.m. after receiving a report of an assault in progress on the 2200 block of Killebrew Drive in Bloomington. Police said the IHOP manager was assaulted after confronting a large group in the parking lot who had left without paying their entire bill.

We used to hit a Denny’s in the Inland Empire (CA) on the way to the desert for target practice, at about sunrise, after we had been on the road for an hour. The waitresses referred to that time of day as “the changing of the guard”. I gathered they liked the 2nd half of the guard, better.

Several newspapers have announced that they’ll no longer publish photos of those arrested, because “it might lead readers to stereotype certain groups”.
I think they aren’t going far enough. At first I thought it would be better for them not to use first names in the arrest reports—just use initials so that Tr’Avon Jones would be shown as T. Jones, but now I see that they need to only publish initials. “Asha Warfa, 19, of Mendota Heights was booked “ would become “A.W. of Mendota...”
However certain towns and addresses may also lead stereotypical thinking so maybe they should be left out as well. “A.W., 19 was booked” is much better.
And “news” outlets are wondering why they are losing readers/viewers.

This is infuriating and mindblowing. I have said it before. I write the White House and post to any Trump link I find. WHY DOES HE NOT HAVE Candace Owens or someone similar doing daily briefings going after BLM????????? These videos should be front and center at his rallies!!! The mainstream media is not showing this crap so if not Trump than who? Who is actually on sanity’s side? Do the powers that be truly want a civil war?

The mainstream media doesn’t carry it so most don’t know. I just posted my frustration that Trump does not have someone doing daily briefings showing these videos. And where is Barr with civil rights charges when the state ignores the obvious?
I have a family member who once had to wait tables at Denny’s overnight, and fights happening after the bars closed was a virtual certainty at least a couple of times per week.
Nothing good happens after midnight.

Another reason the Electoral college is so vitally important.
If it were the popular vote, politicians would simply campaign in big states, in big cities, with big populations.
The Electoral College forces them to campaign in places they would otherwise simply ignore, like rural America.
