I had two Great-Great Grandfathers in the G.A.R.
A Great-Great Uncle (G.A.R.) who was mortally wounded and died in Rebel hands.
Mrs. L had a Great Grandfather who survived Andersonville.
Our "reparations" were paid 155+ years ago.
