The driver clearly lost control getting around the parked white van blocking the lane the driver was in. He hit the two idiots while trying to regain control. And the idiot Darwin wanna-be’s were behind the white van so the driver could not possibly have seen them in time to avoid hitting them. There was no reason for them to even have been on I-5 given that they had parked vehicles on it to block the freeway.
Plus the idiots did not post any warning signs. It takes 240 feet to come to a stop from 60 mph. And it was at night.
At first I thought he was probably drunk or high, but whatever, he obviously wasn’t aiming at anybody and overcorrected for an unexpected event (people walking on the other side of the vans).
However, he was a “protester” himself and I think is typical of a lot of the “protesters” - crazy dysfunctional, obviously well off judging from the car he was driving - so I think this is going to disappear from the news yesterday.
