I’ve got my fingers crossed for both of us to get some rain. Maybe it would turn the heat down for a bit. It looked very pretty up there from the Lake Hood ‘cam. But, like us, you don’t need pretty...you need stormy and wet. LOL!

It did cool off enough that we were able to head out to Comanche Lake. I also did some more tree branch cutting work yesterday morning. Here are some pictures.

Yay for it cooling off at last. Gizmo did a lot of sniffing to make sure all was A-Ok in his turf after your absence. LOL

I hope you were able to finish up all the branch trimming. That can be quite a chore.

Well, I think we have it done. I still have to put the remaining branches in the dumpster. It only holds so much.

I'm going to try to get it done next week.

Awww! Those are great pictures! Even if part of them are of hard work, you at least got it taken care of so there is a good pathway for that Gizmo! Thanks for sharing them with us!

Too bad you aren’t in the country. You could pile them up and have a nice fire like we do. :-) We like fires - - the bigger, the better - - but we have plenty of room to do it.
