It is a better song. A couple verses make me tear up every time I sing/hear them. Still, it’s hard to let go of what we have, especially at this time when so many of our traditions and much of our history is being annihilated by the terrorists.
Domestic terrorists they are, the enemies in the oath so many ignore because they happen to be co-workers, neighbors or badly brought up children. But take heart knowing that there's a legion out here armed up watching and waiting, ready to defend with the Constitution as our template and shield. Note they only have Memphis (which Mississippi keeps refusing to take) and our troopers are making sport of them in Nashville. These spoiled punks will win nothing but discounted Nike's and chicken sandwiches.
It's especially funny that most of these Antifa "warriors" are directionless basement dwellers who made wrong choices following fringe college studies with no real-world applications. But seeing as how a third of most universities' budgets are vacuumed up by non-contributing Diversity con-artists living off undeserved guilt and ALL of the Ivy League schools presented their cowardly underbellies at the first accusation of racial preferences...
