I debated whether I needed it. I said, "My statement is so ludicrous, so over the top, such a parody of stupid Leftist drivel, that surely anyone will know I am being sarcastic." But then I thought a little more and I said, "Some people have no sense of humor and just never see sarcasm for what t is." I said, "This will go over their heads." So I added the "[/s]" so that everyone would know that I was mocking Leftist drivel.

But I guess that escaped you.
