Full Tucker Carlson segment with Indiana Senator Mike Braun on his support of Black Lives Matter and bill to scale back qualified immunity:
"I don't think you're going to win on this issue. I don't think the public supports you at all on this." pic.twitter.com/IhTHf0Hfcs— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) June 30, 2020
Where can i learn more about this subject?
Amen!
Our problem is, so very many of us are so very focused on OUR personal issue. And, if those people do not get 100% of their personal issue they get totally incensed. They do not appear to understand the big picture.
When I bring this fact up they will inevitably bring up their votes for RINO’s like Dole, Bush, McCain, and Romney.
Not understanding that Donald Trump is unlike any of those RINO’s.
Not understanding the 24/7/365 attack that no other President has ever in our country history has ever had to endure.
They simply focus on one issue. Completely ignoring the neverending attacks President Trump has to endure. Ignoring all the many great things the man has done in spite of unprecedented in the history of our country opposition no President has ever faced.
Ann Coulter is a prime example of this. But, there are very many like her here in FreeRepublic.

Um ... What the hell is your IQ?
The RINO made a fool of himself.
30 points higher than yours.
Next question?
At one point during the interview, Tucker asked Braun if he had looked at the BLM website. It was clear that Braun had not.
I have to disagree with nearly everyone on this thread. I thought Tucker did a terrible job tonight and Tucker is by far the best on fox and one of only three shows I watch. Tucker would. not let the Senator finish his point and constantly interrupted. As a result tonight I learned nothing about what at least one republican is proposing about police immunity. I have a feeling his bill would not take away immunity in its entirety but rather set the bar very high to bring suit but not IMPOSSIBLE to sue the police as it is currently. The problem with qualified immunity is there is ZERO potential accountability. I believe the senator was trying to make the point that TOTAL immunity is in fact detrimental to the police and needs to be done away with. I would agree it needs to be very difficult to sue a police officer but NOT impossible. Of course we dont know if I correct in my assumption because Tucker did not give the Senator a chance to explain. I love Tucker but he did an awful job tonight.
Braun was born in Jasper, Indiana, on March 24, 1954.
He graduated from Jasper High School. Braun was a three-sport star athlete; he married his high school sweetheart, Maureen, who was a cheerleader.
He attended the all-male Wabash College, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in economics, and Harvard Business School, where he earned a master's degree.
After graduating from Harvard, Braun moved back to Indiana and joined his fathers business manufacturing truck bodies for farmers.
When the economy of the mid-1980s hit farmers hard and his father's business nearly went under, Braun steered the business in the more lucrative direction of selling truck accessories. The business subsequently grew from 15 employees to more than 300.
In 1986 Braun and Daryl Rauscher acquired Meyer Body Inc., a manufacturer of truck bodies and distributor of truck parts and equipment.
In 1995 Braun fully acquired the company. Meyer Body was renamed Meyer Distributing in 1999. Braun is its president and CEO.
In 2018 Braun's personal finance disclosure listed assets worth between $35 million and $96 million.
The only guy smarter than me in my free-ride-scholarship program was an economist.
They just think differently. I'm OK at economics - but I can't make the worm turn like them.
Braun is objectively very smart.
“How in the world can they be so clueless? How can we, the ordinary conservatives, know so much more and understand the terrible agenda of what is going on, while an actual politician who SHOULD understand it is just completely oblivious? Why do we keep getting such cowardly unintelligent people representing us?”
I often wonder the same thing. Most of them have been in politics for decades. They have front row seats and yet they are clueless.
I've always liked you.
You're Cool.
Good Lord. Anyone who can listen to this complete dullard mouthing ridiculous boilerplate BS and think he’s “smart” is PRECISELY whom the Democrats want for their “Go Team” in 2020. Congratulations on making the team.
Sorry. I’ve never heard this guy before.
He’s a complete fraud. The EXACT kind of guy who may have gone to Washington with high ideals but has slipped into the cocktail party circuit with extreme ease and never wants to leave. Ever.
I think it reduces your IQ points.
Did you see my post #72?
Braun is smart - he has also turned into a Politician.
How freaking hard is it to say,”I fully support the law abiding citizen. Period.”?
Why are you making me defend someone I consider unsavory?
He has nearly 100 million dollars in personal wealth.
I doubt he gives a wet cr@p about the DC Power Brokers.
