I don’t know anybody that thinks slavery was right. I’m a Southern Republican and my family landed in the South from Scotland in the 1700’s. None of my ancestors believed in slavery even though they did eventually fight for the Confederacy, but not for slavery. Long story told me to my GG-Grandfather who was born in 1865.

Anyway, what if their black ancestors hadn’t been brought here? Would they be better off in Africa considering the corruption, genocides, disease, and other terrible conditions in some of the countries of Africa? They should be on their knees thanking the good Lord above that their ancestors survived slavery so that they could be born in this country.

They go on and on about “Mother Africa” as if any of them have ever been there. They wouldn’t last a month in most places in Africa before they would be begging to come back. Reparations are a con by people that will NEVER have enough “free stuff”.

There was a black reporter who went to Africa to connect with “Mother Africa” and he came back very disgusted about the whole business; his moment of awakening came when he stood on the banks of a river and saw bodies floating by; it was at that moment that he was grateful that his ancestor had been enslaved when he realized that could have been him floating down that river.

I can’t remember the guy’s name.
