....A week later, Apple announced it would move a significant amount of its iPhone production out of China and into India.
It took about a month since that announcement for Chinese soldiers to club their Indian counterparts to death with sticks wrapped in barbed wire.
................... Polls show that Australians, Filipinos, Kenyans, Indians, and a growing chorus of other nationals around the world have seen their opinions sour on China in recent history, not only as a product of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic but in response to Chinas colonization projects, such as its illegal reclamation of the South China Sea and the Belt and Road infrastructure initiative. Confronting communist China is a popular move and, if Trump chooses not to answer that mandate, he leaves a vacuum for another world leader to fill.
Across Chinas western border, India had already begun plans to usurp some of its manufacturing power before a bloody hand-to-hand brawl erupted between the two countries soldiers last week. In May, following the publication of a bombshell report accusing 83 international companies of using Uyghur Muslim slave labor to manufacture products in China, Bloomberg News revealed that Modis government was making a power play literally twice the size of the nation of Luxembourg for Chinese factory clients. According to Bloomberg, India was planning to set apart that much land to offer competitive deals to international companies seeking to leave China and build trustworthy factories elsewhere.

India and China are both our enemies. Trump has courted Indian voters to try and help him win Virginia, but Indian visa scabs are destroying our tech workers. Trump must find a way to END the H1-B and OPT programs and deport those workers.
So much for jobs going back to America. They went from China to India
One of the best tv bad guys of all time.
China seeks the destruction of the United States. India may deprive some tech workers of opportunities but India does not seek the destruction of the United States. Quite the opposite in fact. When Trump asked for HCQ India promptly shipped tens of millions of doses even though they had a moratorium on export. On the military front India is increasingly a major geo strategic ally and it will become clear in the coming months and years.
India is THE key alliance America must strengthen far into the future - for the sake of pluralistic civilization.
>> [India is our enemy]
Didn’t know that.
What was/is the TV show?
The Walking Dead season 7 or 8 I think.
Thanks
Make sure you see the first time they meet Nagen which might be at the end of season 6. It’s pretty rough.
Fact is that many Chinese factories are do large that only a country of similar size can supply enough workers to operate the plants. The US simply does not have the population base - skilled or otherwise - to operate factories that employ 200,000 or more workers each.
India wanted something back for those HCQ. Modi was blackmailing Trump on the H1Bs. India has their own ambitions. They have almost the same population as China but a much smaller landmass. You think they won't want to annex more land if their military becomes stronger.
you will be surprised to know that India is not the only place HCQ is made. There are roughly 60+ manufacturers of HCQ around the world, including in the U.S. Generic drug manufacturers have a different business model. They are able to be profitable by making a range of low margin generic drugs.
