Booker celebrated his newfound lead in a Thursday morning tweet, saying, "something big" was going on in the state. McGrath has yet to address the new vote total.
McGrath will become the biggest fundraiser to lose a congressional primary in U.S. history should she fail to close the gap. She was endorsed by the Chuck Schumer-controlled Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in February, using the national support to raise nearly $41 million. Nearly 97 percent of her campaign funds came from out-of-state donors, as McGrath ran watered-down ads in major liberal cities to court donors.
Booker, meanwhile, raised just $793,000 as of June 3, spending $508,000 to McGrath's nearly $22 million. McGrath did not respond to a request for comment and did not indicate whether she would support Booker financially should he win the nomination.

Just WoW.
Thats a man.
LOL. Looks like ole Mitch “We’re going to repeal Obamacare root and branch” McConnell is in the political fight of his life.
Frankly, McConnell should be concerned about Booker in November.
I think she’s allowed to take whatever money is left and give it to other candidates.
Mitch likely to lose to either Booker or McGrath with the mail in voting in place. Louisville and Lexington can harvest enough ballots to drown the rest of the state.
McConnell was running heavy negative ads during this entire primary against McGrath attacking her for being an extremist on abortion. McGrath’s own ads have been attacking McConnell in preparation for the general election and all but ignoring the fact she had another election she needed to turn out voters for first...and she personally appeared on camera attacking McConnell, not using a narrator, and it is politics 101 that the blowback from the negative advertising comes back on the candidate if they are doing it themselves. She turned herself into a polarizing figure.
Reading the full article, there is still so much of the vote out in areas where she should do well, but again, a lot of people could have voted against her without even knowing her opponent in these areas due to her poor choice of advertising and also because many Kentucky Dems out in the suburban and rural areas do not support late term abortion, and McConnell was lighting up the airwaves statewide highlighting her comments for several months.
may be a blessing in disguise... Cocaine Mitch better start fighting back hard against BLM and the socialists or his ass will be gone.
If Mitch loses Ill need a few days to see how I feel about it.
[Without George Floyd, this guy would not have been close.
Frankly, McConnell should be concerned about Booker in November. ]
And compare that to the primary results for the Republican candidates.
Kentucky is not adverse to electing black candidates - we have elected a Lt. Governor (Jenean Hampton) and Attorney General (Daniel Cameron) who are black. But both of them are Republicans.
Mitch better start fighting back hard against BLM and the socialists or his ass will be gone.
Trump should too. Enough is enough.
Kentucky just went from lean Republican to 100% guaranteed the Turtle wins
Thats a man.

Well, yes...but hes got a great wig. ;-)
Democrat voter fraud can dwarf all of your numbers. The mail in voter fraud plans are being perfected as the clock ticks.
Don’t worry about it, Mitch will probably pull a 20 percent margin.
McConnell will win easily. He had more to be concerned with the ‘moderate’ candidate.
