Two brothers who cops allege Jussie Smollett paid to carry out a staged hate crime against him, are now refusing to cooperate with the case because they're being treated like suspects.
The Chicago Police Department claims Ola and Abel Osundario were paid $3,500 to jump the Empire actor last January before he claimed he was victim of a homophobic attack.
The acting brothers agreed to help police in the case against Smollett but now they have changed their minds because the police are withholding their belongings as part of evidence.

I’m sure that the Chicago PD would like to charge the brothers with something, but no prosecutor will make the charge. If they had then the brothers would be in a legal vice... testify against Smollett or go to prison. The lack of charges against them is the main reason that Smollett is walking around free and pretending against all evidence that he is a victim.
Well that, and a bonus payment to keep them quiet.
They and jussie need to spend some serious time in jail. The fact that jussie was given a free pass indicates that certain people are highly privileged, and are allowed to get away with crimes, while other people, because they are called racist, are convicted on the basis of no evidence.
Just tie them to the nearest statue.
They ARE suspects, they in effect drove the get away car for the criminal, all should be punished.
Well, they are. They are suspected of aiding and abetting a crime. Apparently they agreed to testify to this fact in order to help the police. That doesn’t change the fact that they are allegedly criminals, part of a criminal conspiracy. Therefore they are going to be treated as suspects. Get over yourselves and own your decisions and actions.
Probably common knowledge, but what is the citizenship status of the brothers? Doesn’t at least one parent live in Africa whom they were visiting shortly after the phony hate crime?

Only people stupid enough to believe that was even possible are FBI agents. Yes, they’re that into Trump hatred. And hatred of half the Americans who voted for Trump.
