Trump needs an ad showing all the pictures of him with Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other prominent Black liberals where he was lauded posing the question:

What CHANGED?

Trump - I have NOT changed. SHOW all of his Oval Office meetings with African Americans - Signing the Justice Reform Act.

What CHANGED is THESE success’s for the African American community ROB these relics of the past(Jackson, Biden, Sharpton, Pelosi) from cashing in. Surely everyone sees that these tired old figureheads enrich themselves at the expense of those they NEVER really help.

Show me one communist nation that has a free press—not Cuba, not Russia, not China, not Venezuela, and not North Korea.

What is the vast majority of the US press now? A wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC, spouting DNC talking points and constant Orange Man Bad propaganda.

“The Democrat party is dead.”

Disagree. They will always be there under one political stance name or another...democrat, progressive, liberal, socialist, whatever works...as long as there are issues to use whether they mean anything or not or the problem, as they call it, even exists or not. It’s never what it is, just what it’s perceived to be. And perception is based upon presentation, not facts.

They are the party of scramble, not basis. And as long as they continue to hold one house of congress, or the republicans can be intimidated, their message is spewed all over the country if not world. (Whatever it is this week) And they will continue to move from topic to topic without worry as old news goes away and new comes into view and will be used like a prostitute...then discarded. You know it is old when it hits page 110 of the NY Times.

And with the control of our judges, our school curriculums, and pandering to the weak at thought or pocketbook, they will continue to be a not so hidden force as long as “evil” walks and they scramble from one crisis to another to stay there. And until validity becomes the biggest issue, hell will freeze over first.

Exactly my experience with friends I’ve had for years... like, 30+ years. They make some statement or claim, I ask them to provide evidence to support it, and at that point, they say something like, “This is pointless, let’s just move on.”

These are close friends, people I long thought to be intelligent and reasonable. Instead, they act like little more than brainwashed cultists, spouting nonsense and lies which they are utterly incapable of defending, explaining, or even understanding. It is an amazing thing to see.

Those who claim Trump is racist are themselves consummate racists. They see nothing but race. Everything is steeped in racism for them. They are the very essence of racist. They think racism is discrimination against blacks. Racism is discrimination based on race, does not matter what the race is. Seeing all of society in terms of race is racist.

I doubt Pence would want to run for President in 2024. But he sure would be an asset as he appears to have mitigating skills as shown by his relationship with Governors.
By itself, VP is not actually a strong credential for a presidential run. Great for getting your party’s nomination, not so much for winning the general election. Since the ratification of the germane 12th Amendment, VP clearly is explicitly the political heir of the sitting president.

As such a sitting (note well, sitting) VP running for POTUS is trying, essentially, to win a third term of his predecessor - and since 1812 only Andrew Jackson’s and Ronald Reagan’s coattails have extended that far. As the Wohan virus illustrates, God only knows how things will go in November, and in the rest of the first half of the 2020’s. But were Trump reelected and able to repeat the performance of the late teens economically and keep the peace, it wouldn’t be an extreme stretch to think of Trump in that class.

But there is the consideration of Pence’s other qualifications:

No senator has ever unseated a sitting POTUS seeking a second term, and only one senator (Warren G. Harding, in 1920 when the country was sick and tired of the Wilson Administration and WWI) ever defeated a governor in a contest for an open presidential seat. In that context it’s remarkable how many senators - even long-time senators who haven’t attained VP office soon after attaining statewide office - get nominated for POTUS.

I won’t say I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Pence fan, but I’m not dead set against him either. And given a successful Trump second term, I see his nomination for POTUS in ’24 as essentially a foregone conclusion. And his defeat in the general election would hardly be a foregone conclusion, either. Particularly if the Democrats don’t nominate a successful governor.

And Democrat governors’ performance so far in ‘20 suggests that in 2024 nationally respected Democrat governors might be thin on the ground.

Records show that Trump paid every penny back plus interest to his father.

Because the lst 40 years of indoctrination in the USA ‘education’ system coupled with the insanity of giving out “Participation Trophies’ to every kid who shows up has created these monster idiots.

Start over indulging a kid from age 3 to 20, and don’t prepare them for an adult world with responsibilities & skills to support themselves, and you have a FERAL ARMY of BARBARIANS.

You’re homing in on a point I’ve tried to make for a long time. Trump does not THINK like a politician. Never did, never will.

And he’s exactly what I said we needed for the past 30 years.

Not a politician.
Too rich to be bought.
Listens to the people, not the lobbyist groups.
Has the business sense to realize the gov’t can’t spend more than it makes. (I’m still waiting to see this kick in)

Plus he knows how politicians work. You don’t just set a plane down in India and decide to build a hotel. First thing you have to do is convince their politicians your hotel will contribute to their economy. He’s been dealing with politicians for 40 years...if the press rags on him about inexperience, it’s because he LETS THEM DO IT...he wants that impression to stick, just so they will underestimate him.

Someone mentioned he was smart. Know where he went to high school? Military academy. Their number one requirement is above average intelligence. The navy tried to get me into theirs, told a dozen of us we had the highest test scores on the entire base, 22000 recruits. Trump is no dummy...he had to be smarter than the average guy to get into a military academy at all. His parents put him there because he was getting into trouble.

He ended up commander of the entire outfit. Others who were in his class said he excelled at everything he did. Captain of football team, captain of baseball team, major league team offered him a contract varsity soccer and basmetball, outstanding marksman, you name it. They said it was like he was driven to be THE best...

“The word ‘genius’ is not often appended to Donald Trump”

IT IS BY ME!

Donald Trump is a GENIUS!

Donald Trump is a “political” GENIUS!

I can’t tell you how many times I have posted that! MANY!

FAIK you know Pence personally, and I sure don’t. But on paper at least, if Mr. Trump has a successful second term Pence sure will be standing where you stand to run for POTUS, and strongly.
