A federal judge declined the Justice Department's request for an order delaying publication of former national security adviser John Bolton's tell-all book about his 17 months in President Donald Trump's administration.
In a 10-page order, U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth sharply criticizes Bolton and while he suggests that the national security concerns may indeed be valid, he rejects the government’s argument that an injunction would be effective at this point given its already-wide circulation and discussion in the media.

Remember those anti-Trump books written by that clown Michael Wolff? More than one pundit claimed those books would “bring Trump down”.
This book will have the same result. Nothing.
Tell ‘all’. Tell all what? All rumors? All gossip? All imaginings? Daydreams?
So the judge is saying if classified info is released in advance of review/approval by the government its OK. Doesn’t this open the door to everyone else doing this too?
What’s the point of classifying anything if everyone can write about it? In essence, this is a precedent that allows individuals to become declassification authorities in their own right.

John Bolton is just one man’s opinion. There was a time I thought he was legitimate. Now? — not so much!
We certainly do reward bad behavior in this country.

Judge, idiot, that is not the standard you are bound by. It is the violation of the law which must be upheld, not your opinion on the degree of the violation of the law.
Who gives a s&&&?! If this were designed to do any damage at all, it would’ve been released in September. It’s a quick money maker for d-bag Bolton. Anti Clinton, Obama books came out just before elections and had 0 effect.

Some of it is not and the DOJ should go after him for leaking the classified portions of the book. But we all know they won’t.
It seems that the federal bureaucracies and our judicial system are willing to contort themselves in order to damage Trump. They really despise him because they cannot control him.

i mean what difference does it make? Hillary had classified info on her computer in her basement at home- and liberals said she ‘didn’t intend to commit a felony’- and got off scott free- they’ll make the same ruling with bolton- liberals are incapable of breaking the laws according to liberal judges and liberal investigative orgs-

Yes, by taking away Trump’s authority and presidential powers they can neutralize him and then claim how weak and ineffective he is. Its all part of the Deep State’s plan to attack him on all fronts.
Sort of like an earlier post touting the DOH-j putting the finishing touches on some indictments or something. Why? Not as if anyone will serve any time or lose pensions.
