‘Finishing Touches’ Being Put On As Many As 10 New Criminal Referrals in Russia Probe

Officials say the charges of key figures range from perjury to illegal leaking of classified information

ast week former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) told Fox News “we are now looking at the overall Gen. Flynn investigation and how that was conducted and the rest of the Mueller team.” Since the former acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell declassified more documents related to the FBI’s failures and misconduct in the Russia probe, “that information has also shown that there are other people who have lied or misled Congress or have, I think in some cases may be, lied by omission, documents that were kept from Congress” said Rep. Nunes. This week, “the finishing touches” are being put on as many as 10 new criminal referrals from Congressional Republicans to the Justice Department for investigation. Just the News was told by officials the key figures range from perjury to illegal leaking of classified information.”

One source with direct knowledge told JTN “Congress is days away from making multiple criminal referrals to DOJ related to conspiracies against Michael Flynn, crimes committed during the conduct of Crossfire Hurricane, false testimony to Congress by top Obama officials, and criminal leaks of classified information from the top rung of the IC.”

Attorney General William Barr publicly announced earlier this week that their investigation zeroes in on the FBI’s persistence to continue investigating the Trump campaign prior to the 2016 election, despite the non-existent evidence of collusion. “It seemed that the Bureau was sort of spring-loaded at the end of July to drive in there and investigate a campaign. And they – there really wasn’t much there to do that on,” Barr told Fox News.

Just the News writes of a recent interview with Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL), during which he said “it was quite literally an effort to have the country believe that he wasn’t legitimately elected. And that has done far more damage to our democracy than anything the left has accused President Trump of doing.”

How many people even care about this anymore? They’ve delayed this so long that it isn’t even relevant.

I bet wimpy Wray is director because our friend Mitch McConnell would refuse to entertain getting anyone else confirmed to replace him. President Trump would have to get someone who’s already been confirmed by the Senate to take his place. Who would that be?

First off thanks for posting this.

The problem with criminal referrals is that the DoJ is under no compunction to do anything special with them. The House was sending up a lot of these back when the GOP was in charge, maybe a dozen back then.

I think there was significant pressure to indict McCabe, after the OIG report said he lied. McCabe got referred by the OIG to the "Office of Professional Responsiblity" aka FBI's HR department, and was fired. And then his case was reviewed by the U.S. Attorney for DC, but she finally announced "no charges will be filed". McCabe had *ALSO* been referred by the House guys (Nunes, Gowdy) a bit earlier.

We heard nothing about the other people they referred, and that was three years ago.

So I don't hold out much hope of anything coming out of these referrals either.

I’m pretty pleased about the dismissal of Berman at the SDNY and the almost immediate broken-up logjam of indictments and arrest of GMaxwell.. who knows what’t next!! I’m thinking we get more info about Weiner’s laptop and Madame Pantsuit..

and Nunes is always on it

Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch was on FOX and stated Durham was appointed by Barr in April of last year ... 15 months have gone by and nothing has happened up to this point.
Waiting ... still waiting.
