As I recall, Perkins was trying to play a badass attempting to light up a “strike anywhere” match on his cheek. He hurt himself.

I met Mills Watson at some cars and stars thing in Charlotte as a kid.
He seemed nice enough.
I got his autograph as well as a g rated photo of some model. Somehow. Huge crowd.
