World War 3: India slaughters 5 Chinese soldiers in bloody massacre- border tensions erupt
FIVE Chinese soldiers were killed and 11 injured during violent clashes at the China-India border, which has sparked fears of World War 3.
There were losses on both sides of the battle as one of the Indian army's officers and two soldiers were killed in a "violent faceoff" at Galwan Valley, one of the four clash points in the eastern Ladakh sector. These are the first reported casualties in decades to result from a clash between the nuclear-armed Asian giants. China has not yet confirmed the deaths or numbers of injured. India's army said on Tuesday senior military officials from both sides were meeting in a desperate bid to calm tensions.

China treats their soldiers and airmen like shit, too...
The two filthy countries should just nuke each other.
Solves the huge overpopulation problem in that part of the world.
It’s only Americans I give a rat’s ass about. Not filthy Indians or bloody Communist Chinese. The sooner they get into a bloody border war, the better.
Me thinks you need to get a bit better acquainted with the militaries of both these nations, and the social dynamics of both these countries.
India does not stand any chance against China in a conventional war.
And for the record, the average age in India is 27 years old and 37 in China.
China would rapidly overpower India’s air force and establish air superiority. China outnumbers India across the board by at least 2 to 1 on every thing, planes, tanks, ships, missiles, etc. And that’s just raw numbers, not technological gaps on the equipment, age, condition, etc. Let alone the calibre of the actual men that would be fighting.
India has a decent sized standing army, but it’s nowhere near China’s in terms of size, power or ability. Let alone technologically.
No, it would not be pretty and both sides would take casualties if a war went hot, but head to head, India doesn’t stand a chance.
Twenty Indian Soldiers were killed.
India is outnumbered and outclassed technologically and numbers by at least 2-1 in nearly every category. It would take China very little time to establish air superiority over India in open conflict.
I’ve spent a lifetime dealing with Indian technologists, some of them are brilliant, most of them are very sub par. I have had to clean up countless messes made by them over the years... they are caste culture that won’t tell the truth to those who they view as above them. India does not have a culture, let alone the firepower, to take on the chicoms in open warfare and win.
30 or 40. years ago, a war between these two would have likely boiled down to who could offer up the most cannon fodder... Today, it’s not even a contest, India would be beaten handily.
India reporting 47 Chinese soldiers killed...many more injured. It was not hand to hand combat.
The Express shows it's communist roots with a fake title...
Why *wouldn’t* they if they were going to war? Especially since our ability to do the same is pretty limited, thanks to us shutting down our ASAT squadrons leaving our only ASAT weapon the missile-defense Aegis cruisers and their SM3 missiles. The Chinese have both ASAT missiles that can knock a satellite out of orbit and laser weapons that can temporarily or permanently blind a satellite.
“...in 2020, the average age of an Indian will be 29 years, compared to 37 for China and 48 for Japan...”

Yep. As much as I despise and how much harm the H1-B program has caused me personally, we need India and they need us. I’d take them ANY day over China.
I’ve worked FOR and with many over the years. I don’t feel hate from them, but definitely disrespect. They are (on average) very arrogant and feel as if native born Americans are lazy and stupid (when the reality is often the reverse compared to their H1-b folks). Disrespect, but not hate..
SpaceX has the solution, at least for military communications. Can’t take out THOUSANDS of micro sats.
Perhaps prevailing winds carrying radioactive fallout, depending on how many bombs go off?
Indian troops were unarmed who went to check on the supposed Chinese withdrawal at Patrol Point 14 and were met with Chinese armed with rods and barbed wire...

So essentially if the Chi-coms and India go to nuclear war we may receive the same thing we received from the Hanover Nuclear Reservation?
I think you mean ‘Hanford’. It MIGHT be more severe than that, and may likely spread over a wider area, but I don’t know for sure.
I DO know it’ll scare the Hell out of most of the world.
You can mission kill them with an antisat laser. Guess what China has and we cancelled?
Amid border dispute with China, defence forces get powers to buy critical weapons, ammunition
The Air Force had emerged as the biggest beneficiary of the powers granted by the government after the Balakot airstrikes as they procured large number of equipment including the Spice-2000 air to the ground stand off missiles, Strum Ataka air to ground missiles along with multiple spares and air to air missiles for its aerial fleet.
The Army has acquired the Israeli Spike anti-tank guided missiles along with the precision-guided Munitions from America.
