Sorry to say this but $800k for a home inside Seattle is pretty much middle market: nicely renovated, good location, maybe 1000 sqft.
When I went to college at the UW in the mid-1970s, I bought a house a block from Greenlake for $20k. It had been built in the 1920s. Liveable but renovation would be needed for it to be market ready. Gave my half to my first wife as part of our divorce settlement. About 10 years later, she sold it for $150k. Took a memory lane trip back to the old neighborhood on Zillow a couple of months ago. Houses up and down the street are now running $550k to a little over $1 million depending on how extensively they have been renovated. All of the lots are still narrow and deep.
So an $800k house is going to be disappointingly small to those not used to how outrageously inflated the housing market is in Seattle.
