DAVIS, Calif It did not take long before the Davis Mr. Pickles sandwich shop was closed down by corporate officials. Not even days after the owner of the franchise sent an email to employees comparing the Black Lives Matter movement to the Klu Klux Klan, the store was closed. In a statement posted to social media, corporate officials called the comments "alarming and painful," adding that the store will only open under new ownership if it does. The email, sent by former owner Mickey Mann, read, in part, "The BLM is the flip side of the KKK. Their tactics are out of the Mafia play book. They are no better that (sic) some of the worst oppressive regimes in the world." On Thursday, in an interview with ABC10, Mann said that he wishes that he did not send the letter but that he stands by his statements. "If they knew my background, if they knew my family, the diversity in my family, the diversity in my hires over 40 years of hiring, they would know I wasn't a racist," Mann said.

Truth is Hate To Those Who Hate Truth
Calling out BLM for the Marxist front we all know it is isn’t racist.
But the systematic murdering of Black babies is.
Black Babies Matter.
Truth to a radical leftist is like holy water on vampire.,
"The BLM is the flip side of the KKK. Their tactics are out of the Mafia play book. They are no better that (sic) some of the worst oppressive regimes in the world."
Speaking truth during times of universal deceit is a revolutionary act.

After reading the article, I have no sympathy for this guy.
Franchise?
Does he get his Fee back?
Does he sue, his personal opinion is protected speech, or is supposed to be.
Another reminder that “Free Speech” is under assault as never before in my lifetime and “anti-Social Media” posting is a bad idea.
Is today worse than ever before?
Seems like the assault is more wide-spread than I recall ever reading of in U.S history.
Abe Lincoln did a bit, Joe McCarthy had his share, but those were not widespread.
The "presumption of innocence" is no longer in effect in this day and age.
This gentleman must now kowtow (literally) and beg for forgiveness every day and acknowledge that he can nevertheless never expunge the "stain of racism" on his soul (which is, after all, there by virtue of his light complexion).
Oh, and reparations, of course.
Regards,
We need to STOP answering bullshit questions. Period.
It is not very hard, as an adult, to tell others “I don’t owe you a GD thing.”
Mean it, and stick to it.
One of my favorite memories of my father was him telling a greedy cousin of mine exactly that. It worked.
Black Babies Matter.
All Babies Matter!
Fortunately, nobody will listen to me but my advice to every white person in America is, STOP APOLOGIZING, ALREADY!
You are not the problem. Every time you deny being a racist, you're handing them a victory and indicting yourself. It's admittedly difficult to understand, but making the current crisis about racism reinforces the false premise. It's heads, they win; tails, you lose.
Blue Babies Matter
I think this is awful. He obviously felt compelled to back down from his apolitical stance and then when that did not appease his employees he let loose with his real opinion. I would not want to employ such people under such circumstances but he was obviously affiliated with a dumb franchise. Too many dumb businesspeople these days who think they can get involved in politics.

I feel really bad for the gentleman...
What is wrong with the owner trying not to be political?
I admire him for what he tried to do...I would be happy to go to a shop where the owner does not want to be political...
But, sending the email was not a good idea...
Employees upset with the owner for not becoming political...
Those employees are really ignorant...
I agree, stop apologizing. And I would add that I am tired of everyone on TV prefacing every comment with the obligatory, The killing of George Floyd was horrible, just terrible, the worst thing that has ever happened to anyone in the history of the world, and I am so heartbroken, devastated, blah...blah...blah. Its ridiculous to act like this just because youre about to make a perfectly reasonable critical comment, and feel that it must be preceded by an epic display of overwrought false grief and sorrow.
and what’s with the “he didn’t deserve to die” or “he didn’t deserve to did that way” ???
Meaning somebody did ???
Who did ???
#8. I guess the journalists hasn’t a “Klue” about how to spell Ku Klux Klan.
Hehehe, hes Ku-less
