It wasn’t a photo-op. Trump was demonstrating his commitment to law and order and the protection of freedom...at a church that had been set on fire by leftists.
Holding up the Bible was basically showing support for the law, not a religious statement. Our society is based on the Judeo-Christian concept of law, which is essentially codified natural law as implicit in Creation but revealed to Moses.
Guess the good general...who should be removed from his post immediately...isn’t really big on the law. But somebody who’s participating in a coup usually isn’t.
