Ghana, considered a gateway of the brutal slave trade to the United States that began more than 400 years ago, is urging unwanted Americans of African heritage to resettle within its borders in the wake of the police killing of Minnesota resident George Floyd.
During a memorial and wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Floyd last Friday, Ghanas Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Barbara Oteng-Gyasi invited African Americans to re-settle in Ghana if they feel unwanted in the United States, the Independent Ghana news outlet reported.

I have two friends from Ghana.
They will not like it but hey, be true to your spouted beliefs
Yeah, I wonder how their doing now.....
"Thank-God my Granddaddy got on that boat!"
Great news for all those who feel hopelessly “oppressed” here. When you go, make sure you turn in your passport and reject your US Citizenship. Good luck! Bon voyage!!!
I’ll chip in a lot!!!
But you cant ever come back.
Please, go back, see how great it is over there.
Don’t be so negative...promote them taking advantage of the great opportunity. Maybe buy them one way tickets???
Take the Korean's for example (because they've been in the news lately)
Many during those 90's riots in LA who were protecting their businesses were conservative.
Their children (& even themselves now), are largely liberal.
The LA riots were a rude awakening for Korean-Americans
By Kyung Lah, CNN | Updated 1:11 PM ET, Sat April 29, 2017Asian immigrants, once a conservative bloc, have steadily moved to the center and left of the political spectrum, especially as their US-born children identify with more liberal beliefs. Exit poll data show that since 1992, Asian-Americans have steadily moved further away from the Republican Party, shifting to the Democrats and independents.
In 2016, exit polls showed Asian-Americans broke 65% for Clinton to 27% for Trump.
"What I'm hearing from Trump and the rise in hate crimes in this country is scaring me," Lee said. "Los Angeles had this painful past. Now it's time for minority ethnic groups to talk to each other, stay bound together, understand and support each other."
Asian Americans kids (like white kids) can look forward to a future of institutional racism against Asians (and whites)—being discriminated against because of their race.
Their call....
That will last about a few months.
If all the rich loudmouths went, they could make Ghana an economic and cultural powerhouse.
Until they receive the same fate as the Americo-Liberians whom were fast seen as Americans and not part of some pan-African brotherhood.
I read an article a few years ago about Americans who retired to Liberia. They were not too happy and some came back. Living in a First World country is just better than living in a Third World country.
Oh God please
Did they not try that before, it is called Freetown Sierra Leone and Liberia after the Civil War.
Ghana another story:
It might work today, a lot of folks in Ghana are better educated then the poor African American. Ghana has a male literacy rate o 71.5%. In California 75% of black males do not meet state reading standards.
The question will the average Ghana except African American. I know my good buddy Chuck from Kenya who I serve side by side with in the sandbox could not stand African Americans. He would be like I am not brother. Another friend married a Ghana girl and he retired there, he is welcome by her family. I guess it depends on the African American behavior and education level.
I have been to Africa many times, I consider Ghana a very safe country compare to other parts. Overall I think Ghana is rising out of third world country status.
Once the police are eliminated, MPLS will be renamed New Moghidishu! Bet on it!
where is the Ha-Ha emoji
they will never believe they are better off here unless they move
Where to we donate?
after his return to the United States, Ali reportedly said Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat after a reporter asked, Champ, what did you think of Africa?:
One way tickets only.
We’ll include a couple Antifa types for every African that goes back.
