As looters were ransacking businesses throughout the city more than a week ago, Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Ald. Raymond Lopez (15th), one of her harshest critics, engaged in an angry and foul-mouthed argument over the city’s handling of the widespread violence.
During a conference call with all 50 aldermen on May 31 to discuss the city’s response to the looting, Lopez accused the mayor of being unprepared when looting spread from downtown to the neighborhoods that weekend. Looters pillaged shops throughout the city as peaceful protesters were taking to the streets on the last weekend “When downtown is in lockdown, our neighborhoods are next, and our failure to fully get ready for what’s going on in the neighborhoods, we’re seeing this destruction, and we’re thinking that it’s going to somehow end tonight. We have seen where, in other cities, this has gone on for days; and we need to come up with a better plan for days, at least for the next five days, to try and stabilize our communities,” Lopez said.
Democrats to their constituents:
“We need this political theater to keep the dumb blacks voting for us, so shut up and let them kill you, bigots!”
If they go too far outside Chicago proper, they find a lot of lead coming their way. The southern part of Illinois has nothing to do with Chicago. They’d just as soon shoot them and talk to them.
The only thing dumber than these fools supposedly in charge is the electorate that keeps voting them in. Of course, they get voted in because I believe the idiots who vote for them generally have no skin in the game - property, business, tax-triggering income. They just want free BLEEP at other people’s expense.

Lopez was infuriated.
“F*** you, then. Who are you to tell me I’m full of s***?” he said. “Maybe you should come out and see what’s going on.”

The police unions in the big blue cities will be under attack to bust them before July is over.
The teacher unions will be replaced before their so called fall terms start. Without cops in schools there can be no schools in blue cities without cops in those schools.
The schools will become day care centers to contain the little gangsters and to feed them. There will be zero need for teachers, so the teachers unions will disappear like the cop unions in the blue cities.

Send in the social workers and tell your residents to open their door and stop hiding behind their “privilege.”
The left is unhinged. They are using fear and hysteria to push a false narrative and it is quite effective given the number of people kneeling down. The real question for them is “where does this all lead?”
In many democrat cities they may be able to take this foolishness over the finish line, but what then? What will they be left with? Will they look back after thousands of felonious crimes go unstopped and unpunished and think it was all worth it for the sins of one cop?
They want subservience, but when will people recognize the obvious that kneeling is not enough?
My .02, they will keep adding demands on a subservient population and overplay their hand. The criminal element will run wild. Without law and order we do not have a civil society.

According to Wikipedia it is 46 Democrats and 4 Independents. The rioting and looting was bad for the alderman's business model if you are familiar with Chicago politics.

Tribalism.
Most Americans want to be one tribe. The left wants us to be many because they can play tribes off one another.
