He’s a Trump hater, an agitator and was relying on his “old man” status to clearly scan at least 2 cops communications gear.
He probably also took a dive for the camera but screwed up.

Oops! Forgot to mention that in the slow motion view the cop could easily have thought the “old” man was reaching for his gun with a phalanx of cops moving up - law-abiding citizens would move out of the way with a riot underway.
