This would seem to be why “Pillows” West is trying to shut down officers on social media platforms. An unnamed lieutenant circumvented Media Affairs to let an alternative media site know exactly what was going on:
After battling civil unrest and looting last week, a Chicago Police lieutenant with almost 30 years on the job described a department “stretched thin,” lacking direction and fearing what could happen next.
In a wide-ranging interview, the lieutenant, who works in a North Side district but was stationed Downtown and on the South Side last week, agreed to talk to Block Club Chicago provided his identity and specific district not be disclosed.
In his almost three decades on the job, he’s never seen officers stretched so thin as they were controlling crowds at protests demanding justice for George Floyd and responding to looting, vandalism and violence across the city.
“I’ve been on almost three decades and have never experienced anything like this in my career. There’s some officers on their 10th day in a row working … 12-hour days,” he said before the weekend.
This guy rips the skin off the exempt structure and points out exactly where the failures lie. Go read it all and wonder why someone as intelligent as this will never be allowed to make it past lieutenant.
Along with West threatening everyone who posts on social media while off-duty (an extremely questionable practice that should make some lucky officer rich at some point), she also reminds everyone that no actions of a political nature will be undertaken while in uniform and on-duty....like kneeling we suppose, but we still haven’t heard that those two goofs from 002 and the mope from 012 have been reprimanded yet.
Not the least bit surprised. The first Great Commandment® of the SJW-world in the final stages before it transitions into Sharia-rule is: “Free Speech For Me, But Not For Thee!”
Amazon should opt out of police protection, open their warehouses to undocumented shoppers, and vow never to call the police again!
They are a publicly held company; they have a board. Vote out the wackos on the board...the hyphenated women, the university professors, others on their board. Any former or current diversity officers, vote off the board.
