Former President George W. Bush will not support President Trump in his effort to seek reelection this year.
People familiar with his thinking told the New York Times the 43rd president won't back his fellow Republican, who will likely face former Vice President Joe Biden in the general election.
Freddy Ford, a spokesman for Bush, said the former president plans to speak out only on policy issues.

I really can’t blame Bush for not supporting Trump. Trump has said Bushs invasion of Iraq was one of the stupidest, most disastrous foreign policy decisions in American history. Bush isn’t going to support somebody who has called him out as a destructive idiot. Bush can go vote for Biden, who supported Bush’s moronic war.

I remember a decade ago when they asked Karl Rove how the Bush administration would be remebered, and his quote was something like “We’ll leave that up to the historians!” Funny how the biggest Bush forum in the 2000’s got woke to history.
