True enough. Brees is very big on gun control, i.e. disarming the law abiding.
When he talks about ‘the black community’ I suppose he refers to the remarkably dysfunctional group that makes up the majority of black New Orleans. I have lived in the NOLA area for a number of years and have never before encountered a group of people as ignorant, vicious and depraved as the bottom half of black New Orleans. From personal observation, a majority of this group are functionally illiterate and are incapable of making change . They just round off to the nearest dollar and have problems with that. Family life , as it is generally known, is virtually non existent. Multiple sex partners, heavy drug and alcohol consumption, hair trigger tempers and a proliferation of mostly stolen or ‘rented’ firearms among a male population who the majority have felony arrest criminal histories is the norm for this lot. If virtue signaling Drew wants to do something, try having a candid public conversation about the depravity culture and how it came about and how to start tackling it.
