If we believe the liberal news media’s framing of the narrative for the last week of violence, arson, looting, and personal injury, it was caused by the police who murdered an innocent and unarmed black man because of “systemic racism,” and a valiant group of freedom fighters from Black Lives Matter rose up to protest peacefully, showing white America the error of our ways. That’s the fantasy anyway.
The reality is that Black Lives Matter (BLM) intimidates, terrorizes, and uses violence to achieve their goals. In cities across this country last week, BLM signs and graffiti were front and center, accompanying both the chanted protests and the ensuing arson and looting. The anarchists shut down freeways, destroyed property, and looted stores. Rocks, bottles, and other projectiles were thrown at police who attempted to break up the mayhem and “Black Lives Matter” was spray-painted by the mobs on buildings, sidewalks, signs, and even monuments. That’s how they got their message out.

This violent, far-left group has been allowed to exist without questioning their acts is because it’s a sop to black people from guilt-ridden liberals. The lying and corrupt news media will pounce on anyone who criticizes BLM because it’s an easy way for them to link criticism of a black organization with racism. BLM is a domestic terrorist group and should be labeled as such, by both the left and the right.

BLM gets “cover” by their name. I think it would be best to simply use BLM and ANTIFA interchangeably. Never mention BLM by itself, but “BLM and their ANTIFA terrorist allies.”

When this country allowed the open discrimination of “affirmative action” to survive in court, then it openly made a determination that all lives didn’t matter (in terms of livelihoods).
Our government has official policies that regards blacks, Hispanics, and women as inferior to everyone else - then demands we treat them as equals.

There was a video here the other day (on FR) in which a former BLM leader was speaking about how it had become taken over by the Left...and had basically become a bunch of commie terrorists.
If black lives matter why are they killing each other, now burning and destroying black owned businesses?
BLM will never have any credibility with me as long as they ARE NOT screaming about the 700 or so blacks killed in Chicago every year. Until they start to notice that, they are nothing more than another group of violent thugs, and yes, they fit the definition of a terrorist group. Threatening violence and the outright executions of cops for political gain.
Should be designated a terrorist organization right along with antifa.
Good to see someone point out the role affirmative action has had in all this. Lots of Supreme Court justices over many decades since the original Bakke decision in 1978 share in the blame for the current situation, but I’d say the Court’s decision in Grutter in 2003 where it used the diversity justification to uphold a discriminatory policy was
particularly harmful. The Court took a radical theory regarding diversity and used it to justify discrimination against whites and asians. That bad way of thinking has worked its way into so many aspects of life now.
We should start calling them “Only black lives matter.”
