It’s worse than that; you’ll hire certain preferred tokens even if they can’t do any work at all - or you’ll be sued for it.
Once they started giving out unearned high school diplomas and college degrees as de facto reparations, you can’t even pay the semi-literate token occupying space a penny less than the real workers with similar credentials.
