In my crazy ass opinion, it’s going to people who DO know guns.

The upside is that the backwoods Dem hillbillies have dropped party loyalty, for the huge part.

A crapload of them were in the local gun shop tonight, all buying the same “type” of thing I was.

With any luck, the punks will be too amped up on emotion or dope to be anywhere near as disciplined with firearms as the average military veteran.

Tru dat. Militant far Leftists know what's coming, and will be locked and loaded. They aren't in the majority, though. The rank-and-file Lefties are still into the brick and Molotov cocktail assault mindset in the urban areas. They could potentially outnumber us locally if they had enough brains to plan that far ahead and laid siege to a farm town, but we conservative, God-fearing hillbillies and rednecks have been plinking and varmint hunting since we were wearing diapers, settling scores like men (and women, tip 'o the horns), performing military service, working to keep the roof over our heads and food on our tables without waiting for a government benefactor to drop it down our chimneys, and generally still living like a Norman Rockwell portrait come to life. That spirit is still there, even if somewhat emaciated and dormant.
