Organizers say 1 million people are coming to protest in DC this weekend.
If coronavirus is really as dangerous as the media claimed just 3 weeks ago, this is basically a biological attack on the nation's capital.

Can I ask a stupid question?
Normally with protest marches or events such as gay pride parades, organizers need to apply for and be approved for a parade permit or a similar legal authorization to have their event take place. They are supposed to have estimates of how many people they expect to show up, plan together with City officials as to how many law enforcement or emergency Personnel might be needed, bring in porta potties, etc.
How is it that somebody can announce a million people are going to descend on Washington this weekend, especially in this era of social distancing we are supposed to be observing, and nobody in any position of authority is saying, no , you cannot bring a million people in to Stage a protest because you don’t have to be legal authorization to do so.

Except places of worship or gathering for prayer, weddings or funerals by religious congregations.
I hope this time, the Secret Service is ready to guard whatever the DC police are not allowed to guard.
Mayor Bow-Wow apparently wants the White House area to become overwhelmed and destroyed, thinking that will influence votes this November.
It is unfortunate, to say the least, that so many mayors and governors seem quite willing to sacrifice the security of their constituents just to poke at the president.

Agree. The protestors are looking for confrontations that they can film and upload. Just vacate the city of all “essential” people and film the wanton destruction of monuments and private property. Then make that the Trump campaign ad.

1,000,000 people protesting means one of two things are going to happen:
1. There's going to be a huge spike in China Virus infections and these morons are going to get very, very sick.
2. There WON'T be a huge spike in China Virus infections and it proves what the critics have said all along: the shutdowns have been bullsh*t and it's time to open the country back up, throw the doors open, fill NASCAR's and Baseball's stands and let's get back to living!
Either way, it's a WIN/WIN as best I can tell.
