:( Sorry, King does not live in a gated community, Diana. He lives on West Broadway about two blocks from me. He does have a gate on his property, otherwise the punters (Brit-speak) would be wandering all over.
Pretty much regarded as a pompous ass by every one I know. Biggest contributor in the state to the Bill Clinton Defense Fund back in the day.
Susan Collins has a house on the same street. Can't say she "lives" there, but when she's in town she goes to the supermarket by herself, no security. Pretty unusual these days. I've walked right up and started chatting with her... ;>)
