There are reports that One Million leftists will converge on Washington DC this weekend to resume their protests over the death of George Floyd
Washington DC Mayor Bowser announced on Thursday she was examining every legal question about the Presidents’ authority to send troops, even National Guard from other states, to the District of Columbia.
Mayor Bowser said, “I have the authority and have not requested guard from any state.”
The DC Mayor then later evicted ALL NATIONAL GUARD from any Washington DC hotel.
On Sunday night leftists defaced the WWII Memorial and Korean War Memorial and torched a 200-year-old church.

I queried my beloved husband about the Trump Hotel and the Trump Tower.
He thinks there’s probably Secret Service on the premises, though he’s not sure.
He believes Trump Tower is under watch by the Secret Service as Pres Trump still owns living quarters, there.
Actually the federal part of the city is quite clean.

The Constitution granted Congress complete legislative authority over the District of Columbia. Congress alone has the jurisdiction to expand the district's powers over local government affairs. It also has the jurisdiction to contract those same powers. Congress, through the Home Rule Act, dictated the legislative powers to the district council and the executive powers to the mayor. Advisory neighborhood commissions, which are groups elected by the residents, advise the council on matters of public policy. Congress still retains ultimate legislative authority through its power to VETO any of the district's legislation.

There is not the slightest particle of good, at all, that can come from this gathering.
Every demented trouble-making miscreant in the nation will be there. They will try to breach the White House.
I assume the administration has contingency plans for a few very serious possibilities. And a lot of firepower; they will need it.
It is impossible to gather that large a number of people together without a significant percentage being complete evil.

I don’t believe that for a second. Protestors will be converted to ground round on the White House lawn.
My local BLM protest was probably 90-95% white youth under 35 and of that probably 75% was female.
There are some of us that have mixed feelings about DC burning down. Maybe it’s ok as long as they get all the lawyers.
