A black hockey player tried to shame Sidney Crosby into taking a stance; at last check, Crosby didn’t reply.

Haven’t watched an NFL game since the kneeling sh!t started and don’t plan to watch an NFL game any time soon (or probably ever).

How dare he stand up for the United States flag.

The leftist, socialist and yes... true Fascist media spews lies and propaganda on a daily basis, and they have stopped reporting any semblance of what was formerly referred to as ‘news’. Instead, they are in an all out propaganda war against democracy and the democratically elected President of your country.

There is only one cure for this all out leftist insanity... You must re-elect Trump by such a large margin that the media will have no choice but to accept that their 4 year long coup attempt has failed.

If someone does that on their own dime and kneels, I can’t do anything about that.

But if I run a company, and an employee is on company time in front of a national audience, and I am paying them, well, I won’t be paying them anymore.

My right to free speech stops at the door of my employer. Just like it did when I was in the military.

“Drew should tell them all to screw, retire, and never give a nickel to charity again”

From their photos, it appears three of the starting five Offensive Lineman might take exception to Drew’s comments. I suspect Drew will be on his backside a lot this season. I hope I’m wrong.

true... and as a conservative in the television industry, my views are of a minority, and i choose my own time to voice them, for there are consequences for everything we do.

The first time that happens, Drew should slowly get it, take off his helmet, take off his shoes and jersey, lay them on the goal line and walk off the field.

Twitter purposely altered the video clip to begin and end at a portion they could lift out of context to demonize him. They are absolutely evil and dedicated to destroying the country. Dorsey needs arrested for fraud.

If I gave a damn about the NFL this might bother me but since it turned into a league of thugs and druggies I quit years ago.

Drew Brees should tell them to eff off, refuse to retire and keep on doing his thing.

Evander Kane is a punk, has always been a punk, and was run off the Winnipeg Jets because he's a punk by one of the locker-room leaders of the Jets, Dustin Byfuglien:

Kane punked out and left the team instead of manning up and not being a bitch.

Brees backed down like a sniveling little coward.

He’ll never win another Super Bowl. Feet of clay.

I feel sorry for Brees. He's a quality quarterback and deserves to be recognized as such. I'm the type of football fan that enjoys watching him even though he's not on my favorite team. Unfortunately, I have disowned my favorite team and NFL football. I did that during the season my former favorite team won the Super Bowl. That's when all this kneeling and BLM stuff started to happen. I felt no joy upon hearing that my former favorite team won. If you only knew how much I love the sport of football.

The kneeling bit was the final straw. It is part of a culmination of many things beginning decades ago. I'm the type of guy that wants a running back to hand the football to the ref after scoring a touchdown and then trot to the sidelines. This goes along with an attitude of expectation. Running backs are expected to score touchdowns. Act like you've done it before. Be professional. Be a gentleman. Be a sportsman. That means don't gloat, don't push it your opponents face. Have respect, because your opponent may someday beat you. This was lost decades ago.

That same lack of respect was extended to other people. It began when some players started to think they knew more than their coaches and they disrespected their coaches. Coaches were once feared and revered. No longer.

Then they started to disrespect their opponents. They do this through social media today, which is picked up sports networks so it is all over the place. The same disrespect sometimes extend to fans. Now they are disrespecting their country. They are too ignorant to know that when they disrespect their country they are disrespecting people like me, once a season ticket holder who contributed to their salaries.

You can add high dollar contracts and under-performance by some players to the list. I simply see this as a breach of contract; contacts that are ultimately paid by fans. I don't mind money in sports. I truly believe in market supply and demand. I have chosen to affect demand by no longer watching.

Lastly, there is the letting the world know their Marxist politics. This is echoed by commentators that do so little in play analysis and too much in political analysis. Truly, there are zero good color guys left in announcing football. Since I mentioned 'guys', I have to say knowing I'll get blow back, I can't stand women commentators. They are creeping from the sideline into the booth. Some actually know what they are talking about and are better than men. But football, to me, because I am a conservative and don't like change, is a man's domain. Simply put, women should be expected to be feminine. Women are fine on the sidelines as cheerleaders, and even when they are there I don't watch them because I am watching the game.

All of this is too much for me to watch. Football used to be an escape. It isn't anymore.

Despite all these things the NFL has become more popular than ever. It makes me feel so out of touch.

Why do only 42% of black students graduate and 62% of whites do.should we start school riots. The Victimhood must all point somewhere to blame. Farmers must be blamed for obesity too. Black victimhood is from systematic Democrat rule and oppression. If there is systematic racism it was caused by systematic Democrat rule.

Leftist politicians, community rabble rousers and the news media have conspired to create a monster with few morals, a gigantic chip on their shoulder (some justified, some not) and virtually no sense of history and civic grounding. It is now almost a certainty that much blood will flow to achieve some type of peace. What is unknown is whether we can preserve our liberties in the process.

So far, way too many on their side focus on the “chip” and refuse to learn and understand just how much progress has been made. In my lifetime, and I am just 63, the progress has been vast, and would have been greater but for the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton cashing in on rubbing salt on the wounds. Even though many of them do not realize it, the Democratic Party has become their worst enemy.
