For about the last 3 weeks I and others I know have been trying to buy bikes (bicycles)...sold out almost everywhere. As soon as toilet paper and hand sanitizer started becoming more widely available, there was a shortage on bikes.
Now I see reports of these domestic terrorists using bikes to scout things out, etc.

I think it was planned for the conventions, or maybe closer to the election sometime in October. The Floyd death presented an opportunity and they moved it up. On a good note, this has smoked them out earlier and should get them squashed without impacting the election.
