MSNBCs Joe Scarborough called for Defense Secretary Mark Esper to step down on Wednesday morning for his appearance at Mondays event outside St. Johns Episcopal Church across from the White House
Scarborough criticized President Trump for posing outside St. Johns Church -- just hours after part of the church was burned during a night of rioting over the death of George Floyd in the nations capital. Critics have slammed the gesture, with many dismissing it as a photo op.
The Morning Joe namesake took particular issue with Trump holding the Bible for cameras, calling it a prop, and blasting members of the administration who participated.

The liberals found the Presidents church visit very effective.
It was profound leadership.

Joe wants everyone in Trump admin to quit and all Republicans to disown Trump.
Then he will report it as ‘news’
It’s a very narrow daily act

Really not sure why Trump walking to a church and taking a picture with a Bible in his hand is a big deal
Trump taking Flak
It hurts them like salt in a wound. Worse. Their leader hates God and everything associated.

Did any of you see the press conference this morning with Esper? I thought it was curious but he spent the entire time defending himself for the walk ( he didnt know they were going to the church) and said he did not agree with Trump saying he may use troops if necessary to stop the riots. I guess Scarborough got under his skin so it was ok to stab the president in the back. Im not at all happy with him and if I was Trump Id boot him out.

Actually, my idiot governor (Hogan) has openly wondered how safe it was for the malignant “protestors” in Baltimore to eschew physical distancing and other health practices. It’s not just Dems anymore, folks!

I haven't been the President's biggest cheerleader for a while but I know why he walked to that church.
He was showing those goons in the streets that he will do whatever he wants to do and he's not afraid of them.

100 times as much outrage over Trump visiting the church than over the people trying to burn it down.
The Catholic clergyman who denounced Trump and the Knights of Columbus yesterday was no less than the archbishop (recently appointed by Pope Francis).

They don't know how to FIGHT and they sure don't know how to WIN!
