In Texas it's after sunset, then force can be used. But that's criminal statues.

You could still loose everything you own in civil court without a reasonable justification for using force.

That statute applies to theft or vandalism. In Texas, deadly force can be used anytime, day or night, to thwart murder, rape, robbery, arson, kidnapping, or burglary.

Burglary doesn't just refer to a private residence but includes business establishments, motor vehicles, boats, and aircraft.

So do you think marching down the middle of a mostly white suburban street screeching black power protests and turning over wheelie bins and vandalizing cars would be reason enough to shoot somebody? No, those inclined must be given room for destruction. Because there are too many people in prison already.
