Social distancing is the most effective way to slow the spread of the coronavirus — more so than face coverings and eye protection — according to a meta-analysis published Monday in The Lancet.

The findings have new significance as thousands of Americans are gathering alongside strangers in the midst of the pandemic, demonstrating against the death of George Floyd and demanding an end to social injustice.

“That is a small margin. Minnesota is definitely within reach for Trump.”

If enough Twin Cities voters die AND if their votes don’t get counted.

I don’t know.

When this all started, I was stateside. Around the end of January. When I left the first place I departed, literally nobody wore a mask. Nobody.

At the second Airport, the plane we changed to, had a few masks. Maybe a half-dozen on the plane.

For the last portion of the flight, more than half the flight, wore masks.

When we arrived here, literally EVERYONE wore a mask. Everyone. Every flight crew. All the passengers there. Every restaurant. Taxi drivers. Every person, on every motorcycle. Every person.

12 hours difference. Starting, with nobody at all. Arriving 12 hours later, to a place where literally EVERYBODY was wearing a mask.

Both places, were about that time, reporting 16 cases, if I recall correctly.

Where I started, in America.

Where I ended up: Vietnam.

It is interesting, how those totals changed, after that time.

I am American, by the way.

Just so you understand, my possible bias.
