The New York Times faced an overwhelming backlash from Democratic lawmakers and liberal members of the media over its front-page headline that may have been too favorable towards President Trump.
During a Rose Garden address on Monday, Trump threatened to use military force to quell the riots that have broken out following the death of George Floyd if governors and mayors don't take enough action.
The Times print editor Tom Jolly previewed the front of Tuesday's paper attempting to summarize the day's events.

Is chaos spreading? All you have to do is turn on the news for 5 minutes to see that it is.
Did Trump vow to end the chaos now? All you have to do is read his speech to see that he did.
The Leftards complaining about the accuracy of this headline are obviously living in their own little alternate reality.
I can only assume widespread heavy drug use for the things they do and say.

No, it isn't! The treatment of blacks being a rationale for looting, anarchy, assault, arson, and the destruction of millions of dollars of property, much of that property owned by innocent people. The left are liars and a-holes. They aren't expressing opposition to honor a black man's death, they're taking advantage of the death to further their aims of destroying our republic.

Yes, the left turned this tragedy into a major crisis for Trump. I saw that from the very instant that I found out about the killing. CV19 was promoted into a major crisis precisely to blame Trump, and so was this one. It’s not the last. What next? perhaps a hurricane? Imagine leftists hoping and praying that the hurricane hits New Orleans or Puerto Rico.

If he wins again it’ll be a miracle upon high, cause 2020 has been a shitstorm with only one exception, his American astronaut program. Jobs, gone by covid. Civility, gone by the riots. We’re all now ruined by covid and the media barrage will finish us off.

This is the first favorable headline for the President since day one of his administration.
