My town: Saturday, Roving crowds and tiny looting, with a lot of cursing... but IMPRESSIVE calm cops, 100s of them. The cops rapidly went where the "protestors" went, a few arrests, a few rocks and water bottles thrown. There was a curfew at ten, downtown and in poor town. Crowds walked out of them to the University district. Sunday, curfew on the whole town at eight... even more cops, and they outright ARRESTED 300 people, ziptied them while neutrally explaining WHY they were arrested, loaded the onto Metro busses, and to the lockup. Couple of small trash fires, and CCTV feeds got ample evidence, perps arrested. TONIGHT: same 100s of cops...8pm curfew whole town and ALMOST NOBODY IN THE STREETS... because last night we ARRESTED PEOPLE.

LET NYC BURN TO THE GROUND.

exactly correct. In DC right now, the curfew seems to be ignored.
