Dueling autopsies? How can we know which is right?

We don't, and that's the point of the "independent" autopsy.

Don't get me wrong here, I don't know which is right either. All I'm saying is both sides have a vested interest in getting the outcome to say what they want/need it to say.

IMO, there are no clean hands here. Everyone and everything is corrupt AFAIK. It's impossible to know who's telling the truth anymore.

I don’t understand the confusion either.

When you have a person handcuffed, face down, with other officers, the person is IN YOUR CUSTODY and you have a RESPONSIBILITY to make sure no harm comes to them. The cop did the opposite, then the man died. It’s not how ANYONE would want to be treated when you’re in CUSTODY. It doesn’t matter if he had struggled, he is no threat to the officers at that point.

Does ANYONE believe that the man wouldn’t be alive right now if the cop hadn’t had his knee on the mans neck for so long? He died right there.

he had two serious heart conditions, and clogged arteries to boot- plus it’s possible he was high on drugs- the police had called for an ambulance, so something was going on that caused them to be suspicious of his actions enough to call the ambulance-

I just read that Baden's autopsy report found no evidence of heart disease. I'll have to read it myself to see if that article was mistaken, because that's a huge point of contention - one that no medical examiner should miss.

Might have to go best five out of seven autopsies on this one.

First I've heard about the infidelity angle - though people are struggling to connect the dots regarding Floyd and Chauvin's prior association. Have you seen the Breitbart article about the El Nuevo Rodeo? If some of what is speculated there is true, we'll never know the truth about this case.

Difficult, I’m sure, for any officer to know what they’re dealing with when they reach a suspect, but I imagine going forward they’ll be calling out the cavalry when a suspect resists arrest or complains of health problems, just to cover their butts. Now we’ll see the Fire Department, Paramedics, AND the cops at a scene.

People drop dead from strokes and heart attacks doing normal things without expressing much in the way of symptoms. It’s not common but I’ve been to two funerals in my lifetime where that happened. One heart attack, one stroke after the autopsy it was discovered they had underlying problems but nothing that showed up and disturbed their normal routine.
