Armed business owners will be more persuasive with the "protesters".

Am I reading this right? How can someone open a store without insurance or is it that he doesn’t have “riot insurance”?

It reminded me of the LA protests.
I recall KOREAN men guarding their store with rifles and guns...fighting those looting, burning a-holes below!
The Korean men wore those white headbands. It's still a vivid picture in my mind.
The LOOTERS will end up with their Master: SATAN. They're doing his work for him. The more havoc and damage, the better Satan likes it.

Caitlin Dickerson out of her NY Times job in 3..2..1 How dare she show the plight of the bourgeois small business owner.

I guess they are learning their lesson about opening stores in the inner city and in downtown areas.

Well, it is Chicago. A little friendly gifting to bureaucrats can get a lot of things overlooked.

You’re not required to have that kind of insurance
To: karpov
[In some cities, peaceful protesters marching against police violence were outnumbered by others, such as white anarchists, who seemed more bent on destruction than messaging.]
People keep talking about RICO, but it’s not even necessary. Put the anarchists in Supermax Federal prisons for 10 years, and Antifa will evaporate.

Insurance doesn’t cover riots/war.

Am I reading this right? How can someone open a store without insurance or is it that he doesnt have riot insurance?1. They are lying, maybe.
2. They have SOME insurance, but not enough.
3. They bribed the person who sold them the business.
4. If the owners have no fire insurance then they are pretty naive.
5. They should MOVE and get out of that HELL HOLE.
...2, 3, 4.
Now come the excuses. Heck, how much is peace of mind and safety worth?
I still have a relative in Torrance.

Sorry I dont have a lot of sympathy for business owners in NY. A state where they punish homeowners and businesses and coddle criminals.
