I remember the riots in 92..I remember going to the intersection of La Cienaga Blvd/Rodeo Road(Which ironically now is called Obama Blvd, nuff said) they had a Fedco there which is now Target that was on fire scary stuff..they had Korean stores with signs that said “You loot we shoot” that is where I think Trump got the quote from, it was perfect, Korean stores stood up and didnt allow thugs to steal their property
“Third Street and Fairfax Avenue.” Nice area. Swank. The Pederson Auto Museum is top notch and the architecture of the museum is amazing.
Sad that rioters feel like punks who want to damage things. The Fairfax district is always pleasant place to grab a coffee and watch for super cars. Garcetti is useless and yup, non-Christians are powerless to stop the unethical rioters.
next Mayor yogapants will take scones and starbucks coffee to the rioters.
I only go there when I have to bitch to the WGA about my royalty checks. I rarely go the Grove unless it’s the Cheesecake Factory with the GF.

At the moment there are hundreds of people surrounding police cars that have presumably been abandoned for the safety of the officers. From the air it looks like swarms of insects covering the cars. I would expect some or all of these cars to be torched in the next few hours.
Instead of babbling on and on about “peace and love”, the mayor should be asking for the National Guard to get in here in a hurry. Tonight could be dreadful from the looks of it right now.
Expecting these thugs to respect a curfew is either insane or just plain stupid. In any event, he should resign his office.
Id go to the movie theater every week and then to the Apple store across from it..nice mall, Cheesecake factory is nice, farmers market is nice, the donut place over there has great donuts

I hope your sister’s alright. The rioters didnt figure out that we have the laziest precint in town with the Hollywood station and they could have done more damage here.
One thought: the rioters picked 3rd and Fairfax carefully because it’s a quiet hood. They clearly didnt do it in downtown because the stations are like forts and highest concentration of cops in L.A.

I live not far from there in a neighborhood with a lot of Eastern Europeans and refugees from the war torn area of what was once Yugoslavia. These people know how to fight, quietly and deadly and don’t “cotton” to having their businesses, homes and car looted, torched and destroyed.
Take the money out of the food stamp program to pay for the damage.

Her street is mostly white, mix of Christians and Jews..she is not too far from the Beverly Center about 3 blocks away..Beverly Center has been closed due to the shutdown, it was totally remodeled before, hope these cockroaches dont destroy it
