Neither do I and I’ve tried several ways to no avail!
right click on twitter video “copy video address” will appear and right click on it and then go where you want to place it and right click again and right click “paste”.

I’ve had pretty good results using VideoDownloadHelper.
It has a bit of a problem if there a lot of videos on the same page - they are all labeled with the name of the thread so sometimes you have to download and confirm that you have the right one but it works.
