Here's the court document where prosecutors summarize what happened to George Floyd. Note: medical examiner says there are "no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation" but also says police restraint likely contributed to Floyd's death.
They knew this but arrested the cop anyway?
Oh, boy. Just when you thought things were going to calm down.
COVID
No corruption going on there, nope.
So cop didnt kill him but cop contributed to his death? Yeah no. Gonna need some actual evidence. Was he alive at the hospital?
About what I expected. Now weeks before the tox test results.
More:
When Floyd was saying he couldn’t breathe the officer said you are talking fine
......
My Floyd has underlying health conditions...
So cop didnt kill him but cop contributed to his death?
I always laugh when someone says LOUDLY “ I can’t breathe”.
Buddy if you can talk, you can breathe.
You may feel short of breath, you may be panicked and anxious, but you are definitely breathing.
I’ll bet anything the guy died of a heart attack due to stress and underlying medical issues.
Just like the 300+ pound guy in NY selling single cigarettes.
... now they’ll have to burn St. Paul as well.
Just want to point out. You have two major arteries and two major vains going through your neck. A 200 lb man kneeling on your neck can cause a great deal of damage even if he does not stop your breathing. You will feel like you don’t have air because your blood flow is restricted to your brain.
I hope nobody is saying that kneeling on somebodies neck for 8 minutes while they are handcuffed is appropriate police work.
Did you miss this one?
but also says police restraint likely contributed to Floyd's death.
What a mess but hey we have an election coming up so he is the chosen fall guy
From this point forward it is solely politics. Proof or no proof will not matter. He will be found guilty and he will get a lot of time.
Don’t you have some laundry to fold Karen
Apparently he also had illegal drugs in his system but they are waiting for toxicology to come back
I hope nobody is saying that kneeling on somebodies neck for 8 minutes while they are handcuffed is appropriate police work.
I think that might be why they added manslaughter to the 3rd degree murder charge
