Twitter is seeking to expand its product features and policies after President Trump repeatedly pushed a conspiracy theory regarding the death of an intern who worked in former Rep. Joe Scarborough's congressional office.
The social media platform apologized on Tuesday morning for the president's insinuation that Scarborough, now a television host on MSNBC, may have been responsible for Lori Klausutis’s 2001 death via Twitter, which has prompted calls for the company to remove the tweets.
“We are deeply sorry about the pain these statements, and the attention they are drawing, are causing the family," a Twitter spokesperson told the Washington Examiner. "We've been working to expand existing product features and policies so we can more effectively address things like this going forward, and we hope to have those changes in place shortly."

I think people go to twitter knowing what they’re getting.
I had a couple of regular account and a few spam ones, all following the President. After getting twenty some notifications one Sunday Morning, I had to quit following him on all accounts — easier than turning off notifications, frankly.
Then I hear people claiming that his followers are being dropped or something — all phony numbers.
“The Family” that Twitter is deeply sorry was hurt is the Democrat Party, the biggest Mafia in the USA.

I'm sure there are plenty of excuses Barr could use to open a federal investigation. Where's the win for Trump if he does so? You really think it would shut up Scarborough?
