Twitter is seeking to expand its product features and policies after President Trump repeatedly pushed a conspiracy theory regarding the death of an intern who worked in former Rep. Joe Scarborough's congressional office.
The social media platform apologized on Tuesday morning for the president's insinuation that Scarborough, now a television host on MSNBC, may have been responsible for Lori Klausutiss 2001 death via Twitter, which has prompted calls for the company to remove the tweets.
We are deeply sorry about the pain these statements, and the attention they are drawing, are causing the family," a Twitter spokesperson told the Washington Examiner. "We've been working to expand existing product features and policies so we can more effectively address things like this going forward, and we hope to have those changes in place shortly."

At this point it doesn’t matter. It’s trending on twitter, and in the media. Trump is using the lefts tactics against them yet again.
What parties does this “theory” claim are conspiring?
My thoughts too....lots of cash can soothe the grieving heart. ...I guess. ..not mine, but some people. ..maybe. ..
If anyone tried to argue that the leftist biased media isn’t, well—biased, then look at this search result today about Scarborough :

When will Twitter apologize for pushing the Trump Russia conspiracy theory?
Just don’t tweet about it anymore until after the elector ballots are cast some time in December.
They won't because they know their market cap will drop in Billions!
Nazis.

I’m sure they would’ve said the same thing about insinuating that Red Ted Kennedy was responsible for the murder of Mary Jo. He also used to joke about her death.
But nonstop lying about our President for years is ok.
Got it.
You cannot libel or slander the dead. It is not actionable to say that she was having an affair. Joe Scar could take action but her husband cannot.
Too late. See post 35.
So, how was this resolved?
I have a feeling they OWNED him after this and still own him to this day. There is no statue of limitations on murder.
Yes, they are publicly held companies, but they are deeply into oligopoly territory where these behemoth companies control the majority of the news and discussion. That is not healthy.
Twitter will likely permanently ban Trump the moment he is no longer in office.
What, the Twitter question or the death? The death was ruled due to natural causes. Absent new evidence it isn't going to be opened again. As for the Twitter matter, the Tweets continue.

Own who?
They would need to have some sort of cause to do that, won't they?
Mean Mika said that she was going to call Jack, so I guess she did!!
There are several in that category - Amazon, Facebook, Twitter. It'll take a President to take ant-trust actions against them, and win, to resolve the problem.
