Tomorrow morning ends the tenure of Richard Ric Grenell as the acting Director of National Intelligence. At 12:15pm DNI John Ratcliffe will be sworn-in [LINK] and the declassification/sunlight baton will be passed to senate confirmed DNI John Ratcliffe.
On the topic of the FBI capture and use of the December 29, 2016, Flynn-Kislyak phone call First we had a hunch; then it became a suspicion that evolved into a likelihood that has now become a strong probability.
The capture of the December 29th phone call, which generated the raw CR cuts, was an FBI summary, modified for a specific interpretation. Much like the missing 302 there is now a very strong probability the FBI CR cuts do not represent the actual call content.
Within a twitter response by Grenell, part of the riddle behind the transcripts gets a little more clarity: The IC doesnt have all the transcripts/summaries
. it wasnt our product.

Let the declass BEGIN
The Deep State and it’s allies in Congress knew they couldn’t control Grennell. They’re hoping that they’ll have some sway with Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe has talked a great game. Much the same way Gowdy and some others have. Only to realize that he, and they, were/are all members of The Club.
Time will tell with Ratcliffe. If they have dirt on him, he’ll be as useless as Coats was. I always got the impression, given the way he handled the job, that Grennell didn’t give two sh*ts about what any of them thought and he was clean.
Hoping and praying that Ratcliffe ends up being the real deal and carries the torch that he’s been handed.
From what Trump said in one of the Cabinet meetings, Grenell had no interest in the permanent position. Unfortunate, because he dropped a few bombs on the Deep State in a short period of time.
And Grennel does not want to return as Ambassador to Germany. Hope Trump finds another spot for him.
Grenell did more to expose criminal corruption in his short service than
all other former Trump appointees combined.
Radcliffe had better follow Grenells lead and do some
heavy declassifing.
Slowly he turned . . . step by step . . .
Yes, he stood up for the President in what was known, to EVERYONE, a sham impeachment. I’ll give him credit for that. And he was very vocal in his support for the President, I also give him that. But, Gowdy was great and we all thought that he could have been someone, but he turned out to be nothing but an Establishment Hack for Ryan, et al.
This is a different animal.
The UNIPARTY, Deep State, GOPe, Democrats, Left, current and former leadership in all the agencies that took part in the attempted coup, clearly HATED and are/were scared of what Grennell has been doing. In the words of Sen Angus King: If we vote down Ratcliffe, were stuck with Grenell.
*The SSCI hates Grennel with the ferocity of a thousand supernovas because Grenell doesnt give a f**k about their swamp life; and Grenell smacks them around publicly on Twitter whenever the SSCI dispatches the orcs from the deep swamp intelligence apparatus. Every time the orcs poke their heads out of the labyrinth Grenell smacks them with a billion mega-watt sunlight hammer. They shriek and retreat to the dungeon.*
As a result President Trump has pinned the SSCI into the corner of their cave. If the SSCI rejects Ratcliffe, they are stuck with Grenell; and Ric really is a guy who doesnt give a f**k about the SSCIs indulgent self-interest and thirst for power.
So, only time will tell if Ratcliffe is going to be as effective as Grennell has been in the short time that he’s been there.
I hope so.
SmokingJoe....I hope and pray that you’re right. I’m trying to wonder why so much, from Nunes and a few others, seems to be so cryptic. Why can’t they just tell us what’s going on? Can’t speak for anyone but myself, but I don’t trust any of them. When they start driving a stake through the hearts of the enemy, I’ll proudly apologize to and applaud them. Until, I”m not holding my breath.
Are the ones you mentioned far, far, far better than they ones that preceded them? Absolutely.
But, for now, not much has come from a lot of them other than .... “the stuff I’ve read says this or that and none of it is good” ... none of them have ever said what “this and that” is.
Grenell just declassified a batch of info, which he left for Ratcliffe to decide on whether to make public. We shall see in the coming days, weeks, and months, if Ratcliffe lives up to his billing.
Richard Grenell has declassified a new batch of Russia probe documents on his way out as acting director of national intelligence, leaving the decision on whether to make those files public up to newly sworn-in Director John Ratcliffe.........https://www.foxnews.com/politics/grenell-declassifies-slew-of-russia-files-as-ratcliffe-takes-helm-as-dni
