Memorial Day Weekend Corona Virus Thread
We’re doing the same thing.
I expect the shenanigans to really ramp up by the end of october/first week of november.
We’re going to be stocked up just because.
I wish my area was the same. Riverside Co has doubled their cases instead of reducing them. I sure am finding a lot of chores around the house, tho. Talk about spring cleaning lol
I’m really beginning to hate that guy. Trump should get rid of him.
Which woowoo. This woowoo is 2019-20, not 2016.
Any anti-masker that flicks a booger at me in the grocery store will get a can of beans upside his head.
There's a whole magazine on the joys of an alternative way of commuting:
That explains why all the bicycles we’ve bought over the years have been crap.
My point was this...
Japanese have been masking up during cold/flu season for over a decade.
They also mask up during spring allergy season.
The woowoo this year struck during allergy season...
The Japanese were, by and large, already masked up and never really noticed the woowoo.
Plus every worker that COULD work from home WAS working from home. And in 2020, that’s a lot of workers.
And the population voluntarily cut back their travel and trips outside the home to club, go to the movies, eat at restaurants, etc just because they were asked nicely not to do these things.
I still think a diet high in Iodine might put them ahead of the game to begin with.
Just be careful out there.
Especially any sons or grandsons you may have. They are most at risk for long term issues.
COVID survivor receives $840,000 statement for treatment, with more on the way
Harris County building temporary hospital at NRG - again
Our biggest fear, right there.
They’ll never be able to retire.
And IIRC you can’t bankruptcy your way out of medical bills.
Wait till everyone gets their hospital bill...you just THINK economic downturn...
This will ‘encourage’ more people to support single payer.
Which is probably why fedgov wants us to all have it...
Well, this really isnt a surprise:
Partygoer at Missouris Lake of Ozarks tests positive for COVID-19
Yup.
Not surprising at all.
They mostly looked young though so hopefully they’ll not be around anyone at risk while they all have that...
Hopefully they topped off their D3 while they were there.
Not true....https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/debt-discharged-chapter-7-bankruptcy.html
