More on the ‘nanobodies’...
https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-06-alpacas-secret-weapon-covid-.html
“Nanobodies are smaller and more stable types of antibodies taken from the immune systems of camelidswhich include camels, llamas and alpacas. Nanobodies could be more effective at fighting the disease because their tiny size gives them the ability to fit into spaces on viral proteins that regular antibodies have a hard time penetrating.
“The idea is that nanobodies are small enough to access small pockets on SARS-CoV-2’s spike proteins, which is the part of the virus that attaches to host cells. “
“N95 masks are still impossible to find?”
In the checkout line at Food Lion they displayed packages of kn95 masks at 10 for $10.
” a third of Big Ten athletes who tested positive for COVID-19 appeared to have myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle that can be fatal if left unchecked.”
Not true.
The university issued a correction
https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2020/09/03/big-ten-coronavirus-myocarditis/
“Penn State said that no cases of myocarditis had been found in its athletes who had tested positive for the virus.”
Interesting. Kind of reminds me of the nothing to see here guy. So is there any explanation how they happened to come up with a very specific stat and condition, then?
I think the guy got the wrong numbers off of someone else’s work.
It’s a confusing explanation at the link.
That’s recent then.
And not in my area.
They’re still nearly impossible to find.
And still Made in China.
(why is that?)
The kn95 masks at stores are not legit. There were some submitted for testing a while back and they were less not even close to meeting speck. Note that they use ear loops. There are no approved Kn95 masks with ear loops.

“not legit.”
Thanks, I wondered. (Didn’t examine the ones I saw.)
Good for y’all for bringing him into your home.
I rarely go to the main board anymore. The flavor has changed.
Tons of Trump flags this weekend.
Our county numbers are suspicious, imo. Up 25 one day, down 27 the next. Up 26 and down 24. Up and down and up and down averaging 25 cases for the past several days. Just too consistent. The school numbers are supposed to begin on Tuesday so might be related
Informative study of 662 children and mis-c.
“The saving grace is that treating these patients with therapies commonly used for Kawasaki ie immunoglobulin and glucocorticosteroids has been effective.”
The rest of the news isn’t very good though!
So much for in person classrooms.
Im seeing these masks everywhere now for $1 ea. As far as I know, all N/KN95 masks are being sold to institutional buyers, and I dont think they can get them for a buck a piece even ordering thousands.
Well, that’s good news, then, except according to the FluBros we aren’t supposed to believe the PENN Pedos, so that makes it bad news, or something. And the news comes via the WaaahPoooh! So that means it must be fake news, too! Heh, just be a FluBro and choose what the truth is!
OTOH, the article was a bit vague. Did they really say there wasn’t this damage, or just that it wasn’t what they originally called it? And what’s that 15%? I think we will need further clarification.
I found the reported correction confusing too.
All I can figure is the original guy messed up and gave wrong numbers.
China nightlife partying...
“It’s almost as if they’ve already been vaccinated...”
Hmmm.
