University of TX - Austin has the most cases of all colleges. No surprise since UT has long held the title for most STDs.

That should have been obvious from day 1. Fomites get on everything and float through the air from the hallways to patient rooms. People carry it on themselves, their clothing, shoes and whatever they’re carrying from room to room. It gets into the a/c vents. China told us this back at the beginning but some didn’t believe them.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee — The number of children infected with COVID-19 is on the rise.

There has been a 33% increase in child infections across the state of Tennessee over the past 10 days. In West Tennessee, the percentage is significantly higher.

Local 24 News looked at data from the Tennessee Department of Health for the last 10 days. As of Tuesday, there were more than 9,000 school-aged children who had tested positive, a disturbing trend says one local infectious disease specialist.

About that “conspiracy” on the spike in TX death numbers. There is no conspiracy. TX is now counting cases determined by coroners without doing a test kit on the body. Those death certificates stating CV as the cause of death were never counted by the Health Dept. Remember, we didn’t have the luxury of testing live people much less wasting a test on a dead person. Those numbers were dumped into the official count all at once rather than going back to the dates of death. Wooooo!!!! Zip, zero, nada conspiracy.

Yeah, that truth-telling eye doctor in Wuhan, punished by the CCP, speculated he caught it through his eyes.
Personally, I doubt it’s a significant route of infection, but in a densely infected area...

Fauci mentioned goggles today. We knew about eye protection way back when on this thread, and the conjunctivitis symptoms, but the masses have no idea...

There needs to be research on this - CURRENT research. Dr. Fauci can mention, but it needs to be backed up with current research. And from researchers in addition to those in the PRC, as the PRC has routinely misled about SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 as to extent, cause, symptoms, etc.

I believe Dr. Fauci is also subject to having his credibility questioned - as it did not occur to him until late that cloth masks could be useful in reducing the spread of COVID-19 illness. He keep mentioning N95 masks without apparently much thought to cloth masks.

In other words, he was unable to think outside the box.

China told us this back at the beginning but some didn’t believe them.

And you understand why some did not believe them, correct? Information is tightly controlled in the PRC. No?

So sad. He was a good man. A great man to many whose lives he touched. RIP Herman. As I posted a few days ago, I suspected by the way they were parsing words that he was on a ventilator.

With nothing but respect to the late Mr Cain:

I know people want to get back to normal. To live like it’s 2019. I myself get out a lot, socialize with friends, travel, etc. But I do use caution and limit my social circle, even though I’m healthy, under 60, and don’t have any of the high risk comorbidities. Life is a game of risk. I know Herman would own his decisions, and wouldn’t blame anyone else for his choices. But there is a large, vocal group pushing the hoax narrative, and shaming anyone who takes sensible precautions.

Oh, my. Hate to hear that. Prayers for Cain’s family.

Kaepernick and Fauci to recieve the 2020 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award as leaders of social change. Ripple sounds like booze. Who said we needed changing? Seems they’ve made evil negative change.

Along with seeds, China is mailing tableware, jewelry, toilet paper and Louis Vuitton face masks. The scam is they get your name and address to write a review so make the online store seem legit.

NFL isn’t selling season tickets. Season ticket holders can use them for the 2021 season. No refunds.

Philadelphia trash piles up as pandemic stymies its removal. How can they tell the difference? Claims with people staying home, they’re generating 30% more garbage. Huh? I fail to see how it’s 30% more. People aren’t generating trash from their on the way to work breakfasts, lunches and too tired to make supper so pick up fast food on the way home from work. Staying home should make for less garbage, imo.

Hotels and B&Bs are advertising their rooms as alternative work spaces. If you have to work at home and the kids are a bother, then move your at home office to a hotel. Sure, and bring the virus back home at 6 pm. As if after all these months you and your spouse/partner/whatever hasn’t taught the kids to not run in and out of your work space fifty times a day. As if you can’t take a break to join the kids for lunch or a short activity.

We now have West Nile cases.

Racism is now deemed a minority health crisis by the Austin city council.

14 Dallas family members get COVID-19 after virus denier’s party, 1 dead and another on life support. They also drove their infected selves to Ausin to spread it to other relatives.

TX extending P-SNAP (pandemic welfare) through Aug.

21% say they won’t get a CV vaccine.

Univ. of TX and TX State Univ. want students to self quarantine 14 days before coming to campus in the Fall. Yeah, like that’s gonna happen. It’ll be wall to wall back to school parties.

Re: 3058 - When anything comes out of the PRC, I will believe it when it is verified by second or third source. That’s prudent.

The media will blame Cain’s death on the Tulsa rally, and therefore on Trump. I can see why Jim wouldn’t want to contribute to that, even if it means burying, or at least not highlighting the story. I don’t think we will be seeing any “negative” COVID news in “breaking” for a while. I suspect if Charlie Daniels or Lloyd Marcus had died of COVID-19, their deaths wouldn’t have been in “breaking” either. It’s a political/editorial choice.
